A brand new, exciting and rare opportunity has arisen with a Civil Engineering contractor in the East Anglian area! Are you looking for a new challenge? Are you looking for a long term role, working with a reputable contractor, on an exciting project?

Location: Harwich

Contract type: Freelance

Start date: ASAP

Rate: £275+ per day (depending upon experience)

The Role:

This is the perfect opportunity working with a reputable marine civils contractor, working on a major contract in the East Anglian area.

This role will be site based.

You will be responsible for:

* Writing and reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements
* Carrying out precise works to project specifications
* Keeping site records
* Monitoring works
* Monitoring SHEQ
* Managing programme
* Completing QA on the project


* Degree / HND qualified
* Offshore survival training
* Experience in renewables especially wind farms
* Experience in dredging contracts
* Ability to explain design ideas and plans clearly and concisely
* Excellent communicator both written and verbal
* Ability to work within budgets and to tight deadlines
* Experience working with a main contractor or specialist sub-contractor in the marine and dredging sectors
* Proven track record with all elements of marine and dredging engineering with a strong focus on geotechnical works
* Ability to work within a team


£275+ per day, long term contract (negotiable)
