Senior Estimator

Contract Type - Permanent

Location - Maidstone, Kent

Salary - up to £70,000 plus package

Job Role - Estimator / Senior

Client: A Family run, award winning Main Contractor with projects based in Kent, Sussex and London. Projects consist of Residential, Commercial and Educational with a company annual turn over of £50 million.

Projects: Projects ranging from new build to refurbishment from £250,000 - £10mil throughout Kent.

Position: Seeking an Estimator who will primarily be based from the Head Office in Kent. You will be responsible for supporting the commercial input across a large portfolio of projects and reporting in to the Pre-Construction Manager duties will include :-

* Responding to tenders & pricing work
* Bid management
* Pricing and organising subcontract labour and materials
* Feasibility studies
* Using generic estimating software.


* Previous experience as an Estimator / Senior Estimator working for a Main Contractor
* Project experience in Heritage, Commercial & Education is ideal
* HNC / HND / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Civil Engineering is desirable but not a necessity
* Good Forward Planner
* Able to work closely with Construction Managers, Planners & Design Teams
