I am actively looking for a stand out Personal Assistant for my Regional Director of the North based in our busy, buzzy office in Newcastle.

We are a leading Construction, Property and Engineering recruitment company. Divided into regions, the hiring Regional Director is responsible for all our offices in the North of England. I am now looking to hire a support and partner to work alongside him. Working in a sales environment can often be challenging and stressful so I need a strong individual who has the emotional intelligence to detach themselves and have a purely operational mind-set.

Our support staff are vital to our success as an organisation and as individuals, this role is key. The Director is incredibly busy and continually in demand so he needs someone highly organised to partner with him.

The role of a Personal Assistant includes but is not limited to:



* Being responsible for the complex diary management for the Regional Director - organising meetings with both internal and external partners often on a large scale
* Document production - Production, formatting, amending, and delivering.
* Minute taking - keeping a detailed track record of both internal and external meetings, ensuring a high level of confidentiality.
* Arranging travel down to the last detail
* Setting up phone calls and group conference calls at short notice
* Managing preparations for all team-related events
* Liaise with internal teams such as Talent Acquisition - executing briefs on behalf of the RD


* The successful candidate will act as the central point of consistent contact and business continuity for the Directors

The ideal candidate:



* You'll need to be a highly organised individual who is friendly, focused and loves to be busy, operating at a 100% accuracy rate even with a very high volume of inbound tasks and an ever-changing list of diary requirements, travel bookings and ad-hoc requests.
* Emotionally intelligent
* Ideally you'll have at least 2 + years previous experience as a Personal Assistant in a hyper-pace environment where you learnt to be totally discreet and comfortable with maintaining confidentiality at all times.
* You'll thrive on being able anticipate & plan for situations in advance and will need to have superb written & verbal communication skills, be used to liaising with varied Senior staff, clients, agencies, and personal acquaintances.
* Extremely organised with the ability to prioritise and manage workload amid conflicting demands and busy work periods.
* A strong communicator with demonstrable writing ability, great verbal communication skills and excellent literacy.
* Exceptional at relationship-building - able to develop and maintain good working relationships at all levels.
* Computer literate, able to create reports and agendas as requested
* Able to own and resolve situations from end to end (and anticipate them ahead. of time).
* An accomplished multi-tasker - able to manage multiple executive and personal requirements simultaneously
