POSITION SUMMARY
Cosma Casting UK is an operating unit of Magna International, one of the world's premier global automotive
suppliers. Magna's pioneering technology and creativity allow our customers to ask for solutions that lie
beyond what they previously thought was possible.


Cosma Casting UK is a manufacturing facility in Telford UK and is looking for a Team Leader. Cosma Casting
The UK specialise in high pressure die-casting that designs and builds medium to large aluminium die-cast
automotive components.


The MP&L Shift Team Lead is responsible for the supervision of Material Handlers moving material in
Production, ensuring a safe working environment, they will be part of the Material Handling team on shift to
satisfy all Production and Customer demands are met. Reporting to the MP&L Supervisor

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment includes both office and shop floor. The individual must be able to perform all
essential functions on the shop floor, in meetings and with employees, management, customers and
suppliers.
Plant conditions necessitate exposure to heat, cold, dust, hot objects, and loud noises within our
manufacturing environment. Full Health and Safety training and PPE provided for all conditions.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This role entails but is not limited to:-
· Guarantee a safe working environment
· Facilitate Start of Shift team briefs and daily checks are performed
· Ensure all production processes are replenished with Raw Material
· Movement of parts in time to satisfy customer demand via Downstream processes
· Strive to improve MP&L processes in line with MAFACT requirements
· Facilitate investigation and root cause analysis of any Accidents or Incidents on shift
· The daily organisation of Material Handlers aligned to Material movements on the shop floor
· Monitor team performance via KPI's (Tier 1)
· Promote the companies HSE policies across the department and plant
· Proven Team Leader/ Supervision experience
· Experience of problem-solving
· Use of 5S to improve production environment

· Ensure that QEHS start of shift checks are carried out eg FLT checks.
