We are currently seeking a Sales Associate to work as part of an experienced sales team
in an exciting and fast-growing business. The primary responsibility for the Sales Associate is to approach prospective B2B customers and manage the inbound leads pipeline.

The role will involve frequent telephone contact with senior procurement executives to initiate their interest and generate new business revenue for the Membership Sales Team.

The successful candidate also undertake prospecting, networking and the qualification of inbound leads.

This will be achieved largely through telephone contact with prospective members that
responds to content marketing or contacts directly. While the main focus of the role is to add opportunities to the sales pipeline and nurture relationships with prospective members,individual project work can involve supporting marketing initiatives such as campaigns, sourcing lists of names or researching new sales channels and business areas.

Key Responsibilities:

* Contacting senior executives, by telephone and written means, in order to arrange a
sales meeting for senior sales directors
* Responding to inbound leads to qualify interest and fit with the company membership and, if appropriate arrange a sales meeting for senior director
* Updating CRM database with relevant information
* Providing any other assistance necessary in support of the Sales operations/pipeline
management
* Coordinating participation of Product Specialists in sales activities
* Assisting in the preparation and distribution of materials for prospect interactions by
collecting and researching background information on institutions as well as any
existing relationships within the company


Key Attributes, Skills and Experience:

* A Bachelors degree from reputable University, 2:1 and above in any discipline
* Aspiration to develop a career in sales
* Prior experience not essential but may benefit applicant
* Ability to clearly understand and articulate the value proposition and benefits of the corporate membership
* Superior interpersonal skills - confident and clear phone manner
* Exceptional levels of drive and motivation to hit targets
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* The ability to present self professionally and intelligently to prospects
* Well established organisation, multi-tasking and prioritisation skills
* Demonstrated initiative and resourcefulness
* Refined judgement
