Our client, a global specialist in Business Information Publishing & Events is looking for an experienced Group Media Sales Trainer for their London HQ, to support and develop a growing sales team of 150+. The position would be well suited to an Subscription or Membership Sales Manager OR Sales Training who has previously work within a media environment on subscription based renewable products. This role is highly flexible, offering part time or full time hours, and a generous salary for a high calibre people developer, ranging between £65,000-£75,000 (per year/pro rota for PT) + excellent company benefits.

The Group Sales Trainer will have experience in coaching and developing teams withing the business media/ business intelligence sector. Whist working with the line managers directly, they will be instrumental in the planning and execution of ongoing training and will be charged with developing all levels of experience within the sales teams.

This flexible employer would also welcome someone who has taken a career break and would like to come back to work part-time or full-time, providing relevant experience for the role.

The role:

-Providing sales training for subscriptions team primarily , but also for advertising and sponsorship sales teams
-Work with line manager to define training programs for each member of staff
-New employee on boarding and training
-Phone sales, desk based coaching, role playing etc
-Produce learning and development plans, workshops and individual training sessions
-Provide feedback, mentorship and coaching to employees at all levels
-Track progress and adjust training programs to promote a high performance

Experienced Required:

-+5 years in Sales Training within the media sector - as a sales trainer or team manager
-Strong understanding of Business Media and media based business intelligence products
-MUST have experience in subscription/membership based products
-Well trained in various selling techniques, sales models for Business Development and Account Managing, including phone based and face to face sales
-Prior experience developing training programs and personal development plans
-Excellent communication skills
-High level of emotional intelligence and must have a passion for people development
