£30k Salary

Full-Time - Permanent

2.5 days per week

Looking for a role within Health and Safety?

Within this vacancy your role is to enable, support and direct our site to achieve our vision of zero harm by minimising the health, safety and environmental risks and impacts of our activities, products and services by proactively demonstrating EHS Leadership values.

Duties;



* Be present on site as much as possible
* Direct communication with the Shift Manager
* Risk Assessment reviews
* Having an influence on the Shift team to increase level of safety on site
* Raising issues with the Shift team and resolving these

Who are we looking for?



* Effective communication skills to communicate with all levels of the site and internal and external
stakeholders
* The ability to engage and work with all departments within the site to maintain the Environmental
Management system and make necessary improvements
* The skills to be able to integrate yourself into the SHEAR team for wider business objectives
* A proactive and "can do " attitude
* Confident 'Go-to contact' with technical Health & Safety background
* Technical experience
* Minimum of a Nebosh certificate
* Able to perform flexible shift
