Are you a Housing Disrepair Surveyor? Are you Chartered? Are you looking for a fantastic opportunity to work for the world's leading global network of experts? I am working with a national consultancy looking to appoint an experienced Housing Disrepair Surveyor to work on major Public sector portfolios across West Yorkshire, based in Leeds.

* Have experience in a similar role
* Have knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation, CDM regulations and Building Regulations
* Be familiar with standard forms of building contracts and knowledge of compliance techniques
* Have direct experience of selection, management and monitoring of contractors


* Visit properties in disrepair, arranging schedules, managing contractors and signing off when completed at a satisfactory level.
* Work with agreed budgets and costs controls, ensuring adherence with financial procedures at all times and produce reports and other information as required in line with statutory, regulatory and policy requirements.
* Provide technical reports, appraisals, measurements, costings and estimates as required.
* Regularly inspect the quality of contractors workmanship in a supervisory role and in accordance with the agreed standard specifications of work as directed.
* Prepare reports and attend, when requested or required, meetings with the client(s), disrepair team co coordinators, contractors, solicitors, always acting as a responsible representative.
* Required to make witness statements and attend court under the direction of our legal advisers.
