Our client in Taunton is seeking an experienced HR / ER Coordinator to join them on a temporary basis. The contract is set at present for 3 months - however, this may be extended depending on business needs.

The role:

* To assist and support the Employee Relations Team within HR Operations
* Implementing and coordinating administrative processes that support the delivery of first-class advisory service.
* Organise and co-ordinate key processes and correspondence that helps ensure key Employee Relations issues are addressed in an objective and rigorous manner
* Collate employee relations data as part of the Employee Relations Monthly Report, including key statistics on case volumes by region and by function. To manage the collation and presentation of this data to the business.
* Assist the Employee Relations Advisors with ensuring all template letters, forms, policies etc. are maintained and updated.
* Provide ad-hoc administrative support to the Employee Relations Manager as required

Experience Required:

* Knowledge of HR policies.
* Knowledge of a range of employee relations administration procedures
* Full understanding of the principles of a generalist HR role including, but not limited to disciplinary, grievance, redundancy, TUPE, absence capability, performance management and contract variation.
* Previous HR / Employee Relations administration experience ideally gained in a high volume fast paced environment.
* Previous experience of providing first line guidance & support on a full range of Employee Relations processes.

Desirable experience:

* Experience using Oracle
* A basic level of employment law knowledge together with an interest in current UK employment legislation and case law.
* Knowledge of the Company's employee relations processes.
* Knowledge of waste and recycling industry.
