job description


*Responsible for the management of the assigned finance resource base and regional finance team members ensuring that finance operational activities are completed effectively, timely and in line with local and legal requirements

*To coach, develop and grow the competence of the assigned team members. Create a strong global team environment, strengthen and upgrade the capabilities of the global finance team and build and implement a plan for stability, continuity and future succession.

*Provide structure and stability to the Regional Finance teams, ensuring alignment to strategy through the delivery of regional KPI's, regular feedback and where appropriate tangible Finance operations support.

*Oversee and manage the assigned finance expenses according to the set finance budget. Align budget expectations with the Executive Manager Finance & Control and the overall long term and annual budget plans. Develop supporting business plans for the underlying assumptions and align this with the assigned Executive Manager.

*Review the business finance process model, ensure appropriate monthly and quarterly controls, review deficiencies and initiate with the Finance Program Manager improvements to increase overall effectiveness, efficiency and process control. Align with the service delivery team and IT overall supporting requirements.

*Align the finance process model and capabilities in the customer service levels. Ensure that requirements are managed upfront by the commercial teams.

*Support the business in expanding into new service and geographical areas through new ventures or acquisitions. Ensure the appropriate finance infrastructures in installed to support business activities.

*Manage the vendor relationships with Group Finance, local country finance and external suppliers.

*Review set ups and reinforce delivery through clear SLA expectations and deliveries.

*Review the process center model, align with the Executive Manager, all stakeholders and management the way forward and implement a sustainable business structure.

*Guide the Regional Finance Manager(s) to support the regional P&L leaders in the day to day steering of the business, financial & business planning and presenting this to management. Build a solid relationship between the different roles and ensure the Finance teams are an integral part of the overall Regional teams.

*Collaborate and support the Finance Program Manager by implementing and embedding efficiency gains initiatives.

Excellent leadership and management skills to lead and motivate his team

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Organized and should be able to multi-task

Entrepreneurial business focused attitude and result & process focused

Advanced computer program skills like Microsoft Word, Excel and so on.

Strong presentation skills.

Able to work under pressure, prioritize and achieve deadline.

Strong knowledge of International Accounting Standards

Good knowledge of Oracle Finance and/or Hyperion

Self-Starter, able to setup activities in new and unknown environments

Willingness to travel Internationally

Bachelor or University degree in Financial Accounting

Proven experience in a multinational business service environment
