Incredible opportunity for a newly qualified Junior Construction Health & Safety Consultant to join an expanding health and safety team based in Manchester!!!

A leading consultancy is seeking a Junior Construction Health & Safety Consultant to work as a member of the team delivering construction health and safety services to both internal and external clients. This is an ideal position for a recently qualified health & safety consultant, with experience of the construction industry. The team specialises in the provision of a comprehensive range of health and safety advice for the construction sector, working across an array of businesses and a diverse range of sectors, but with a main focus on Infrastructure, rail and water and energy.

You will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of major schemes which would be a fantastic addition to your CV.

Responsibilities:



* Work competently and independently on projects, typically throughout Manchester and surrounding areas
* Assist with the preparation of pre-construction information
* Review construction phase plans and method statements
* Provide advice to contractors on CDM
* Site inspections
* Support colleagues at design team meetings
* Set up projects and provide administrative support
* Develop into a CDM Adviser, with a portfolio of construction projects

Requirements:



* Educated to degree level in a construction related field, preferably a construction related field and for a design related degree
* Ability to work on multiple projects
* An understanding of the design process and the principles of risk reduction
* A knowledge of the CDM regulations and associated legislation
* Appropriate experience of the design and construction processes
* NEBOSH Construction Certificate or similar technical or professional qualification
* Registered Member of the Association for Project Safety (IMaPS / CMaPS), with CDM 2015
* Graduate or technical membership of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH)
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CAD software
