KS 1 Phase Leader and Year 2 Teacher Bradford

This School in Bradford needs you! This is a permanent KS 1Phase Leader and Year 2 Teaching role starting September 2018.

Responsibilities:

Leadership responsibilities



* To lead and manage Teachers in the phase ensuring high quality planning and teaching
* Contribute effectively to raising standards and achievement of pupils
* Attend and contribute to SLT meeting weekly
* Lead weekly team meetings and update staff on any changes to policy
* Organise and produce resources for assessment weeks
* Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching and learning in the phase through observing lessons, focus groups with pupils, data analysis and monitoring of plans and workbooks.

Teaching responsibilities



* Teaching of Year 2 class
* Demonstrate high standards of teaching and learning
* Challenge pupils to meet or exceed their full potential
* Motivate and inspire pupils
* Promote independent learning within the classroom and ensure each lesson is differentiated to meet each pupils individual needs
* Ensure all displays are up to date
* Build a positive rapport with pupils, colleagues and parents
* Adhere to School policies

Requirements



* Hold QTS
* Demonstrate the ability to teach across KS1
* Excellent organisation and communication skills
* Leadership qualities

This role is to start in September 2018 meaning candidates should be available to work at the start of the new academic year.
