About Our Client
Out client is a globally recognised brand in the banking sector who continue to be present on the high street and in the UK.

The role has come about through maternity leave and they are seeking to add an organised and highly motivated individual to their contracts team.

You will be of a finance and/or contracts background, who is comfortable supervising a junior team of administrators to support yours, the Finance Managers and the wider contact teams work.

The role will be recruited on an initial 6 months, with the potential to be extended for a further 6 . Because of the need to do a handover you will either be immediately available or on a short notice period.

Job Responsibilities:
- To assist with the control of all financial and commercial aspects of the contract
- To assist in the production of supporting and financial information
- To maintain and update records to the areas the contract is responsible for
- To prepare and issue reports, which form part of the contract and customer requirement
- To undertake general office duties such as;
- Correspondence and filing
- Preparation of reports and documentation
- Updating of electronic records
- Material ordering and administration
- Subcontractor's administration
- Raising purchase orders and ensuring that purchase orders are updated
- Production of valuations and presentation of results
- Contract renewal documentation
- Production of short range plan information
- Quote logging and processing
- Collating timesheets from engineers, chasing and checking quality of data
- Contract set-up (PPM / System support)
- Application billing preparation
- Contract escalation process

Preferred Skills:
You will have a background in finance and be comfortable working with a Finance Manager to pull together financial reports. With this in mind strong Excel and systems skills are require, as well as first class communication skills. You will have either supervised or managed a small team and be happy to be a teams first point of contact.

Associated Benefits:
The role of Finance Team leader will pay between £25,000 - £30,000 plus excellent benefits
