An outstanding college in Guildford is looking for a learner support worker who has experience working with +16 special need students. Your role will be to support them to gain independence ready for life skills. You will be able to gain several qualifications while working at this school because they constantly offer career development and progression within.

Your role will require:
Liaise with teacher to ensure all learners are supported
Engage with the learners to keep them on task
Enable learners to attain skills to develop their independence
Deliver 1:1 or small group focused lessons when required

The skills required:
A*-C in Maths and English is essential
Previous experience working with Autistic learners is essential
Patience and flexibility to deal with changes
Ability to look after the student's physical, social and emotional welfare
