I am recruiting for Learning Support Assistants to work at the college to support learners with a wide range of needs. The students have learning difficulties or disabilities which could include autism, physical or social and emotional support. You will be supporting students to achieve their full potential both in and out of lessons.

Hours and days are flexible according to the student's needs / timetable and your availability. This role would suit individuals looking for term time work.

Due to the nature of the post a Fully Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) will be undertaken.


* To provide support to students on a 1-2-1 basis or a group based session under the direction of the Tutor
* To develop learners English and Maths skills
* Ability to keep students on task and engaged
* Promote independent learning with your students
* Work within the policies and procedures of the college and in partnership with other staff and teams
* To work closely with Advanced Learning Support Assistants to ensure a seamless approach to supporting learners on discrete and mainstream College provision
* Accompany students on visits and trips as appropriate
