My client is a fortune 500 Company , the conveyance business is wholly owned subsidiary on the First American Finance Corporation. FAF is the leading provider of title insurance and a broad range of property and financial services to both corporate client and consumers are the world.

The organisation is a group of companies providing panel managed services to independent estate agency's including; conveyance, home information packs, utility switching, landlord and tenant services. My client is a volume conveyance and a regulated insurer provider.

The client had circa 20 staff on the middle floor the wider group has 550 staff across multiple floors, open planned offices with a busy social environment.

Core Responsibilities:

* Financial Management of the P & L
* Daily banking including review of bank reconciliation's.
* All cashbooks and cash allocations
* Creation of annual budgets and reforecasts.
* Monitoring actual spend against forecasts, budgets and prior year expenditure.
* Monitoring Cashflow and funds flow including cashflow forecasting.
* Reporting on Fee Income and Billing status.
* Full nominal ledger responsibility including all month-end adjustments.
* Updating Sage with current client information.
* Create new sales ledger client accounts.
* Amending invoices and creating credit notes
* Management of appropriate ledger accounts to ensure accurate monthly accounts, to include accruals and prepayments.
* Preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts including variance analysis to budget and reforecast and commentary thereon.
* Creation and publication of monthly management accounts
* Provision of adhoc financial analysis in support of the business.
* Provision of regular and timely financial information to management.

Provision of Management Information.

* Monitoring of volume capacity.
* Creation and development of adhoc management information.

Financial Modelling.

* Development and maintenance of modelling tools to provide decision support and advice on strategic options.
* Understanding and ongoing refinement of client pricing models.
* Development and control of resource planning models.

Deriving support for the business.

* Liaison with support functions to ensure accurate identification and approval of Live costs incurred elsewhere in the business.
* Liaison with accounts payable, cashiers and credit control departments to ensure appropriate support.

Advisory Role.

* Ensuring adherence to finance polices.
* Awareness of VAT implications
* Awareness of Corporation Tax implications.
* Main contact for liaison with external auditors at annual audit
* Main contact for liaison with internal auditors at interim audits


* A minimum 1 year's experience in Management Accounts
* AAT Qualified
* Part Qualified - ACCA/CIMA - Preferred
* Worked with a commercial environment
* Ambitious, hard working and great attention to detail


* Hours: 9am - 5:30pm Monday - Friday - 1 Hour unpaid Lunch - 2x Paid 15 minute breaks
* Holidays: 25 Days + 8 Bank Holidays - Accrue 1 days every 5 years
