job description

M&E Design Manager

A capable M&E Design manager is required to join a large M&E contractor on the outskirts of London in Essex, specialising in the Residential sector.

This role has come about through exponential growth, and a particularly large Residential project landing meaning there is now a chance for someone to join the business and really make the role their own.

You will not just be managing the design process, but still designing yourself, managing design engineers and CAD staff, both permanent in house staff and tried and tested sub-contractors known to the business.

The initial project you will be working on is a £9 million residential development, so you will be required to demonstrate experience on previous projects of this calibre within the residential sector.

Because this role is relatively new to the client, they can be flexible on the salary for the right candidate, providing you can demonstrate the relevant experience.

* Experience within the residential sector
* Proven track record as a successful M&E Design Manager
* Live within commutable distance from Brentwood
* Ability to co-ordinate M&E designs
* Be able to lead Design meetings with clients and counter parts from sub-contractors / design consultancies

You will receive a flexible annual Salary or Hourly rate for this role, as dictated by your experience.
