M&E Surveyor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Regional M&E Surveyor based in a Housing Association in North London.

Post: Regional M&E Surveyor

Rate: Circa £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

We are looking for an experienced Regional M&E Surveyor to be responsible for providing technical M & E safety advice to colleagues across the organisation and being a point of contact for external organisations in relation to M & E.

The main duties of the role are as followings;

* Manage contractors to ensure they deliver the M & E programmes on time and to the required standard whilst managing any underperformance as it arises.
* Provide technical specifications and guidance to contractors to ensure the correct standard of M & E equipment is installed and maintained.
* Quality assure remedial actions following inspections and testing to ensure M&E risk is mitigated across the organisation and contractors are held to account to deliver what works are required.
* Quality assure M & E inspections, testing, servicing and maintenance to confirm level of risk and necessary actions to be taken have been captured accurately and articulated appropriately to colleagues across the organisation..


* Experience of working in Social Housing.
* Must have a minimum of 5 years` experience in an M & E role.
* Demonstrable extensive knowledge of quality assuring works in relation to M & E inspections, testing, servicing, maintenance and remedial works.
* A valid UK driving licence with access to their own vehicle to travel across the organisation's portfolio.
