Mechanical Design Engineer - Water Treatment

I am currently looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work for a delivery contractor that specialise in MEICA on a major water treatment project in Birmingham.


You will be: -



* Responsible for the production and coordination of outline and detailed design within the water industry
* Providing engineering calculations and solutions from inception to completion
* Attending internal and external design review meetings
* Ensuring all design work is completed to agreed programmes, financial budgets and to a high quality
* Coordinating design production between internal and external design teams where applicable
* Ensuring designs are approved in accordance with clients time-scales

Requirements for the successful Mechanical Design Engineer: -



* Experience in using AutoCAD Plant 3D
* Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant subject
* Experience in mechanical design engineering within the water industry.
* Knowledge and skills in the in the planning, specification, design procurement and commissioning of projects.
* Strong communication skills all levels with the client, suppliers, contractors and design team - both written and oral.
