Mechanical Estimator - ESSEX

Are you sick of the travel into the City of London? Do you want a short easy drive to your office? Do you want to work for a leading tier one M&E contractor?

I am currently working with a client who is based in Essex! They are seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join their successful estimating team.

With a healthy order book and expansion continuing for the contractor, they have a mixture of work with projects up to £18million M&E in Central London. With a strong team already in place and one of the best development plans available, this is a great opportunity to help you progress up to the next level.

My client has a turnover of around £100 million at the minute, typical projects ranging between £20-£30 million M&E. A mixture of commercial shell & core, commercial fit out and high end residential projects.

Duties & Responsibilities:

* Submission of Mechanical Tenders
* Ensuring all deadlines are met
* Liaising with clients & contractors
* Variations
* Procurement
* Finalise tender bids
* Secure contracts
* Handovers
* Understand and scrutinise Sub-Contractor quotations

* Measuring and take offs for materials and labour


* A chance to work for a tier one M&E contractor
* Monthly social events with the estimating/commercial team
* Work with a very successful estimating department
* Great commute into Essex
