Mechanical Maintenance Engineer- £17ph - South West London- Immediate start

I am currently looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a large maintenance team in an established high-end commercial space located in South West London. You will be apprentice trained (or equivalent) with a strong background in Commercial Maintenance.

Job Description

As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for the following:

* Fire alarm testing and sprinkler testing
* AHUs/FCUs - filter changes, belt changes, actuator changes, coil cleans-
* Pumps - PPMs or strip downs (replacing seals, bearings, valves, overhauls)
* Motors - PPMs (re-winds, overhauls)
* Water treatment - dipslides, pH & temperature testing, chlorination, chemical dosing- water testing
* Water pressurization units
* Chlorifiers - annual inspection, de-scaling
* Steam Plant
* Condensers, Condenser Returns
* Cooling towers
* Softeners
* Humidifiers
* Hydraulics
* Pneumatics


Mon-fri: 8-5pm

The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role requires candidates with experience / skills / background in:

* Apprentice trained or equivalent (NVQ L3 plumbing or mechancial)
* Available Immediately
* Ideally Experienced within a heavy engineering environment
* Has a strong background in commercial maintenance
* Good communication skills
* Strong team player
