Mechanical Project Manager

My client is a Mechanical & Electrical specialist contractor who has been in business for over 50 years. They have gained an excellent reputation with leading Main Contractors for providing a great M&E installation service on a Design & Build basis or from specifications prepared by external consultants. The business predominantly trades in the Education, Commercial & Residential sectors. The business is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to join the operational team due to a full order book up to 2020. This role will be site based and is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to progress their career.

As Mechanical Project Manager you will be responsible for the following:

* Working closely with the pre-construction team in developing the Mechanical packages
* Tender reviews
* Involved with bid presentations
* Attending project, client and subcontractor progress meetings.
* On site review and management of Mechanical Building Services installation

To be suitable for the position you should have the following:

* A minimum of 10 years experience within the Mechanical Building Services industry
* Have achieved at least a City & Guilds apprenticeship in a Mechanical discipline
* Experience managing Mechanical projects in excess of £3 million
* The ability work individually or as part of a team

If you are successful you can expect the following remuneration package:

* A Basic Salary of up to £85,000
* Fully expensed travel
