Are you a Level 3 Qualified educator with looking for a new challenge? Are you looking for full time work in an established Day Nursery? We would love to hear from you.

An exciting opportunity has become available at nursery is based in Belgrave (Le2) area of Leicester. They are looking for a full time team member to work with children from 2 to 4 years old. You will need to be qualified to a minimum of level 3.

Your main responsibilities:



* To have a key person role with a group of key children aged 2-5 years old
* To work in close partnership with the manager to ensure a consistent approach throughout the nursery.
* To take a lead role in the overall curriculum of the nursery working closely with the manager to implement new ideas for planning, observing and assessing children in all rooms.
* To be actively involved in supporting new initiatives as and when necessary. Carry out spot checks of the quality of planning, observations and learning journeys.
* To observe activities being carried out and feeding back constructively to the team setting realistic targets to support and ensure the needs of children are met.
* To observe spontaneous activities to ensure staff are listening to children, making the most out of the child's interests and views to provide learning opportunities.
* To encourage other practitioners to have high expectations of all children and to demonstrate commitment to ensuring that they can achieve their full potential
* To establish and sustain a safe, welcoming, purposeful, stimulating and encouraging environment where children feel confident and secure and are able to develop and learn in line with the early years foundation stage (EYFS)
* To select, prepare and use a range of resources suitable for children's ages, interests and abilities, taking account of diversity and promoting equality and inclusion

About you:-



* Must have at least 1 years' experience working in Early Years post Level 3 Qualification
* Leadership experience preferable
* Must have a detailed understanding of the requirements set by Ofsted
* Must have excellent knowledge of the EYFS and experience of working with children and families
* Must have knowledge of Safeguarding
* Must hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application through us
* Must be able to provide two professional child related references
* Must have the right to work in the UK
* Required attributes include- the ability to build relationships, baby room experience, behaviour management, strong communication, empathy, motivation and nursery nurse experience
* Must have a BTEC certificate in level 3 childcare, and early childhood studies degree or NVQ level 3
