About the Role:

This excellent nursery work together productively as a team to ensure the safety and encouragement of the children daily. Working closely to the EYFS, the nursery works to ensure activities set out for the children are appropriate to their developmental needs ensuring they have a productive experience during their time. Some of the day to day activities that you would be completing include:



* Prepare and provide appropriate care, teaching and caring for the children to help prepare them for school
* Keeping accurate records of events such as meal times and nappy changes for the children to be communicated back to the careers.
* Safeguarding and protecting the children while promoting good health, safety and welfare of the children
* Working proactively with the team, parents and other professionals to meet the individual needs of the children
* Plan and delivery different activities for the children to complete to help encourage the different stages of development.

The nursery also offer an all inclusive curriculum to the children covering the 3 Prime Areas; communication and language; physical development; personal, social and emotional development. This means staff has their own opportunity to create and run their own activities with the children in relation to these key areas while also concentrating on further developmental needs of the children.

* Dedication to providing great child care to a variety of children
* Must be level 3 qualified or above - NNEB* BETC Nat Dip *CACHE Dip in Childcare *NVQ or SVQ Level 3
* Excellent communication skills that can be applied to a range of different situations and individuals.
* Have recent experience in a nursery environment
* Have in-depth knowledge of the EYFS and how it is used
* Have a fun and creative personality that works well with young children
* Excellent knowledge of safeguarding in childcare and its importance
* Experience working with a variety of age groups from 0-5 years old
