* A competitive salary
* The opportunity to expand your career prospects and stay in a more permanent position

This means you will be expected to promote the welfare and protection of the children which could include ensuring the nursery rooms are health and safety compliant for the particular age group throughout the day.Other responsibilities include:

* Working in a team to provide high quality childcare and protection
* Keeping records of the children's activities throughout the day
* Assisting with meal times and keeping the children clean and changed when needed
* Creating activities for children that will help with their intellectual, emotional and psychical development
* Helping to sustain a positive and strong relationship between the nursery and the parents/careers of the children

If this role sounds like something you would be interested in then please read below for the attributes we would find desirable from a successful candidate:

* Have experience working in a nursery environment and children aged 0-5 years
* Have basic knowledge of allergies and how to handle and approach it with younger children

This position needs filling as soon as possible and the candidate should have a DBS on the Update service or the willingness to complete a new one with Randstad. The process for applying candidates will include a telephone interview followed by a face to face interview. If this position is for you then please contact the Early Years team or send a copy of your CV to alice.parsons@randstandeducation.co.uk
