Are you experienced with on/off hire of Plant? A sub contractor in Middlesex is looking for someone to join their team.

As the Plant administrator you will be expected to keep a register / tracker of on/off hire. You must have previous experience in this role.

This is a permanent opportunity to join a leading UK Construction Company. The company is independently owned and been around for over 50 years!

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000

Plant Administrator Role and Responsibilities:



* Managing Plant & Machinery hire - liasing with suppliers and site managers
* Negotiating the best price for plant hire
* Setting up hire contracts
* Ordering and organising delivery of plant & machinery
* Orgainsing off hire plant & machinery
* Tracking service inspections for machinery
* Keeping a checklist of all items accounted for when erecting a tower crane
* Liasing with councils for any road closures
* Weekly reports on plant hire
* Builiding & maintaining knowledge of hire / sale equipment
* Maintaining fleet; arranging annual servicing, paying tax, and booking MOTs.
* Greeting visitors / Answering calls / Taking messages
* Dealing with incoming and outgoing post
* Raising invoices
* Managing timesheets for labour staff

Plant Admin Candidate Requirements:



* Experience of Plant Administration within a construction environment
* Extremely organised
* Attention to detail
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Computer literate with experience of Microsoft packages or equivalent
* Experience of delivering excellent customer service
* Organised, presentable, and show strong communication skills.
