As a Procurement and Commercial Manager, you will manage the interface between both the business unit and the Procurement and Commercial team.


* You will manage the interface between both the business unit and the Procurement and Commercial team procedures whilst ensuring cost efficiency
* Will engage regularly with Clients, Estimators, Lead Procurement and Commercial Managers, Category Managers and the Head of Procurement & Commercial Shared Services to ensure the wider function provides an effective and efficient service to the business
* Working within a client facing business, you will also be an integral part of the bid teams that design and implement procurement strategies to best meet client business requirements.
* You will be required to continuously work to strategically improve procedures, standards or policies whilst adhering to regulatory guidelines

Your Skills and Experience:

* You should ideally be MCIPS /degree educated or has an equivalent direct entry to a recognised appropriate professional body.
* Experience in M&E or construction or hard FM industry
* Have previous experience in a similar role where you were responsible for procuring and managing contracts, managing suppliers and sub-contractors, and supplier vetting, development and management
* It is essential that you are proficient in the use of P2P procurement related systems
* experience of managing change requirements within organisation
* You will have an understanding of supply chain concepts and how to improve them
* Demonstrable stakeholder engagement and managements skills are essential, as is the ability to influence, lead and resolve disputes and problem solve
* You will have excellent communication and presentation skills, strong commercial acumen, and a continuous improvement mind set
