About the Role
The POC Design Lead has been fulfilling a critical role in building the Product Offering Catalogue for PAYM, SMB and PAYG, including configuration and, as we move from preparation into execution, the approach to support Dual Running of the catalogues, including syncing as we define and refine the process for the AD team.
In summary this role is accountable for the following:
Work with marketing to manage product parity decisions between legacy & AO2, including launch of new propositions between now and go live (2020 &Q1 2021). This ensures nothing built on legacy can’t be delivered on AO2.Working with Business Readiness and Dual running, consider all product differences between legacy & AO2 e.g subtle differences in the way things are built and major proposition differences, and agreeing the best way to manage these differences e.g customer T&Cs updates, migration comms to customers or internal comms for agentsEngage with the test team across all phases (e2e & UAT) of test and for each release, providing a point of contact for products, scenarios as required and approvals as required. Test team responsible for testing this role will aid the test team in identifying how we know testing right things, test plan fit for purpose and test plan fit for purpose. Responsible for looking at test outcomes where there are failures, particularly with a POC lens.Co- ordinate and interpret SME expertise from within marketing to facilitate decisions needed from marketing to assist with release blueprinting and grooming decisions.Working with the Business Readiness Lead support engagement with SLT and AO2 to agree impacts on POC of the change freeze plan and agree exactly what can be uplifted in POC for go live using the agreed change window structure. In particular ensuring that we have the right capability in place during the change freeze window to configure and match legacy tariffs and propositions to support things like weekly trading requirements.Support the process lead working on the to-be process with the AD team to define and refine processes for making in-life changes post go live, which includes input and assessment of the volumes of work to be consumed through that team.Ensure e2e design confidence, working with design assurance to feed in any gaps identified during POC development & grooming, as well as assisting with development of their own assurance process. This will also include approval of HLD documentation as required.
