job description

This Civil/Structural Consultancy is seeking a Project Structural Engineer to join their London office based near Kings Cross Station. This is a very reputable, award winning practice with over 70 staff.

This firm would suit a technically strong candidate who is ambitious and dynamic, wanting to progress their career working on challenging projects. You should have plenty of London based experience within a design consultancy working on varied buildings structures and ideally be working towards MICE or MIStructE.

This consultancy works on a wide variety of buildings design work, often award-winning projects with from small to large scale in all areas of new build and refurb. They are also involved in heritage engineering, off-site fabrication, appraisal of existing buildings, infrastructure engineering, engineering sustainability, pre-planning advice and deep basement design. You should have good general buildings design experience in all the main materials.

Job specification:

* The main project that you will be working on is a £100m residential scheme in London, as a member of a Design Team
* You should have experience in reinforced concrete frames, and in particular flat slab design.
* ROBOT experience preferable
* You would integrate into other projects within the practice once the bulk of the design on the above project is carried out. You should therefore also be able to demonstrate working with the other main traditional materials.

Good promotion prospects, regular CPD, great work atmosphere, good benefits package and salary will be awarded to the right candidate.
