My client is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to provide financial management for multiple Facilities Management Contracts - to be commercially responsible for Minor Works (up to £10k) and Projects (£10k - £250k) and to ensure that the tendering, measurement, valuation and cash flow are managed effectively.


* Salary of £45,000 - 50,000
* 25 Days holiday + 8 Bank Holidays

Key Accountabilities

* Prepare valuations for PPM, reactive, minor works and project works
* Placement of sub-contract and supplier orders for minor and project works
* Project management of smaller scale minor works
* Client facing contract administration for R&M contracts
* Estimating of minor works and projects - compiling quotes and tenders for client approval

* Accuracy of measures - small number of queries
* Preparation of reports for client lead progress meetings
* Customer feedback
* Increase gross margin performance
* Level of successful estimates
* Aged debt levels

Experience & Qualifications

* Qualified to HNC/Degree level.
* Competent in construction processes and procedures
* Experience of Microsoft packages
* Experience of NSR / PSA schedule of rates - estimating and delivering
* Experience in R&M Facilities Management arena
* Experience administrating R&M contracts and dealing with clients
* Vetting will be required for working on Police sites - this requires the submission of personal information
