I have the perfect opportunity for a permanent Quantity Surveyor with a well known civils contractor, who holds an excellent reputation in the region; for an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for a permanent vacancy this could be the perfect it for you.

The Project

A diverse portfolio of civil engineering schemes ranging from road improvements, concrete repairs & reinstatements, aviation projects, paving repairs and specialist framework projects.

The Role



* Quantity Surveying
* Liaising with Commercial team
* Management of supply chain
* Drawing up contracts (NEC)
* Ensuring that all valuations and reports are prepared within agreed deadlines
* Provide commercial advice to the operations team
* Work Closely with the finance team to ensure that a consistent approach is followed throughout the business
* Provide support and guidance to your team to help develop their skills
* Managing the work process from budget estimate through to final account


* Implementing commercial procedures and reporting to ensure compliance with company and contract requirements

Requirements



* A degree in Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering
* Highways Maintenance experience is ideal
* At least 5+ years experience
* NEC Form of Contract experience
* Experience of managing a team and providing support and guidance.
