Pay Rate and Hours:

Monday to Friday, hours between 08:00 AM-18:00 PM

  • Day Rate: £9.27 per hour
  • Overtime rates available if working out of core hours

Responsibilities:

Duties of the Reprographics Operator are detailed below;

  • Process and reproduce a wide range of different content such as simple letter printing, through to name badges, presentation binders, posters, business cards and more.
  • Using software and hardware to print materials
  • Using guillotines to cut printed items to size and to a full-bleed (no border around content), laminating materials, binding books and presentations
  • Wire binding
  • Stock monitoring of consumables for the machinery and paper for replenishment
  • Produce mail merges on Microsoft Word
  • Liaise with clients via telephone and email, follow through any with queries in a responsive and efficient manner
  • Providing print quotes by gaining the client requirements
  • Manual handling of stock and storage of stock
  • Communicate positively and professionally with customers
  • Problem-solving
  • Actively support and follow the client's environmental, quality and security policies
  • Advising and identifying the best method of production and cost savings
  • Work to deadlines in conformance with client agreements
  • Foster a constructive team working environment and "one team" ethos
  • Working individually and as part of a team to achieve results
  • Encourage a positive, courteous and productive working environment

The main purpose of the Mailroom Operator's role is to;

  • Ensure all incoming and outgoing mail is sorted and distributed appropriately, ensuring safe and timely delivery to the intended recipients.
  • The Mailroom Operator will also be expected to build strong relationships with external organisations and be able to advise on best methods of delivery.
  • The ideal candidate will have good IT skills, possess first-class communication skills, be passionate about delivering excellent customer service, be able to demonstrate good attention to detail, be a strong team player and be able to multi-task.

Requirements:

  • Essential: Previous Reprographics experience, particularly with wire binding, monitoring stock of consumables and using guillotines to cut printed items to size and to a full-bleed (no border around content)
  • Great communication skills and understanding of verbal and written English
  • Good IT skills
  • Strong attention to detail skills are essential
  • Excellent attendance levels and positive, polite attitude
  • You will work well both as part of a team and individually
  • Ability to prioritise your workload and remain organised
  • Adaptable, flexible and a team player
  • Fast learner, able to take both positive and constructive feedback.
  • Able to handle difficult situations and act appropriately
  • High level of customer focus - proactive approach to service delivery and client satisfaction
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and confidence to communicate at all levels
  • Strong attention to detail skills are essential
  • Desirable - Experience with Fiery Command Workstation, experience with Adobe
