    Overview Job Title: Senior People PartnerContract Length: 3 monthsSalary: £25.64 (£50,000)Location: Birmingham centralWe are delighted to be working with an independent regulator of the dental industry in search of a diligent and capable senior people partner. As a senior people partner you will work in partnership with leaders, key stakeholders and colleagues to provide a comprehensive partnering service to managers and staff on all people matters and ensure alignment between the business and people practices. To provide coaching and consulting to the business leaders and managers to support the overall objectives and outcomes, using innovative and customer focused people solutions and actions.Area of responsibility - Delivery, partnering & corporate Ensure the provision of a quality and customer focused service, including guidance to managers and People Services colleagues on dealing with complex casework and employee relations issues.Support the Head of People Services and Executive Director, OD in the delivery of project-related work in connection with the People Strategy.Identify key initiatives from corporate and Directorate plans, translating business requirements into activities and delivering people solutions aligned to business objectives.Deliver key people initiatives across the organisation, including workforce planning, pay and reward, resourcing, change management, employee relations, resourcing and performance management.Each SPP will have specific areas of operational delivery and specialist knowledge.Provide advice and guidance to leaders on employment matters: influencing management and the leadership around the people agenda in order tomaximise organisational performance.Coach managers and leaders to develop their skills and behaviours to lead and motivate their teams, including the handling of complex employee relations issues.Ensure there is alignment between people management strategies and the business' policies and procedures, updating as appropriate.Analyse and report key data and information to support with benchmarking and the development of people strategies and solutions.Analyse the impact of changes to employment law and assess implementation across the organisation, where appropriate.Work alongside managers to ensure their reporting requirements are met and they have sufficient management information and guidance to make correct, business-led decisions.Support Head of People Services and Head of OD & Inclusion with operational delivery of People and Organisational Development strategy.Drive the delivery of corporate and business people plans for designated Directorates.Take a proactive approach to risk management, ensuring risks and issues are identified, addressed and reported and, where appropriate, escalated.Person Specification/Specialist Knowledge & QualificationsCIPD level 7 or relevant practical application of HR at a managerial level.Excellent working knowledge of current employment law and best practice.Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills - credible at senior management level and able to challenge, influence stakeholders as appropriate.Demonstrable experience of operating in a business partner model at a Senior People Partner level, working with the business to identify and enact workforce solutions.Experience of coaching managers and leaders in the delivery of business-led solutions on people issues.Demonstrable experience in analysing, interpreting and using management information to develop insight, and use to inform action.Able to simplify complex problems into component parts, explore and evaluate them systematically to identify and implement an appropriate solution.Significant experience of managing change.Significant experience of challenging employee relations issues and disputes through to resolution.A commitment to diversity, inclusion and equal opportunities in employment and service delivery.Evidence of instilling confidence and credibility at all levels when dealing with sensitive, challenging and difficult situations.Experience of leading on projects to ensure delivery against key targets and milestones.Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to present clear,well- structured policies and reports.Randstad Business Support acts as an employment business when supplying temporary staff and as an employment agency when introducing candidates for permanent employment with a client.
