Randstad CPE is currently recruiting for a SCADA Operator to operate and monitor Crossrail SCADA System for all Traction and Non-Traction Power.

This role will continue for around 6 months and will be based in Essex.

You will be part of the O&M Team and report directly into the Power Supply Manager.

Roles & responsibilities

* Monitor the SCADA system
* Take consent from the Control Engineer to operate SCADA System
* Carry out HV and LV Switching via SCADA
* Carry out Earthing via SCADA
* Carry out Emergency Switching
* Log access and egress into substations
* Ensure correct running arrangement of HV and LV Network
* Following switching schedules as per the Control Engineer's instruction
* Liaise with the RMC
* Liaise with the sub-contractor's SCADA team
* Confirm Network configuration accurately to control engineers, SAP's and AP's
* Report any alarms / issues to the control engineer
* Assist control engineers during dynamic testing

Educational requirements

* Technical Qualification in one of more of the following:

City & Guilds 236, 2360, 2330, 2391, 2730, 3667, ONC, BTEC Engineering OR equivalent agreed by the authorising engineer

* HNC, HND Engineering (desirable)
* Authorised Person qualification (desirable)
* Health & Safety qualification (desirable)
* Knowledge of SCADA or BMS systems
