This specialised school in Crawley is currently recruiting for a PE Teacher who can join their thriving SEND school working 3 days per week. This school provides day and residential education for children and young people aged 7 -19 who have a range of social, emotional, behavioural or communication difficulties. All applicants for this position must have the following requirements to be considered:
● Teaching Qualification is desirable but not essential
● Experience in teaching to young people aged between 7 - 19
● Working with children with special educational needs
● Relevant knowledge of the current national curriculum
● Eligibility to work in the UK

* To be accountable for the leading, managing, developing and the teaching of PE across the School.
* To be accountable for student progress so that each individual student achieves their optimum level across all science disciplines and ensuring that effective strategies are in place to further raise standards of student attainment and achievement;
* To ensure the provision of an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students studying all PE disciplines in accordance with the aims of the school and the curricular policies determined by the Head of Teaching and Education.
