A Special Needs school in Leicester are currently seeking to appoint a Teacher to start as soon as possible. This is a full time and long term role until the end of the academic year.

This SEN school which is situated in Leicester caters for pupils aged 4-19 who have a range of complex and moderate learning difficulties. All pupils have an Education, Health and Care Plan or a Statement of Special Educational Needs. The role will be teaching within a Early Years Foundation Stage class.

Responsibilities will include:

* Preparing lessons and teaching a varied curriculum
* Encouraging pupils to develop a range of skills
* Working proactively with other team members
* Setting clear expectations and pushing the capabilities of students
* Ensure the safety and safeguarding of the children at all times whilst within the classroom or school premises.

The ideal candidate for this role will:

* Be a Qualified Teacher - QTS, NQT or equivalent
* Have Early Years teaching experience
* Have experience of teaching learners with Special Educational Needs
* Be enthusiastic about providing a high level of education of pupils with additional needs
