About Our Client

Are you a Special Needs Teaching Assistant looking for a new challenge whilst progressing your career in Education and Care at a new and bespoke school? This school is based in Dukinfield, and has specialist facilities, providing a spacious, calm and safe environment in which young people can thrive and learn.

The role involves assisting young adults within the school's enrichment centre, assisting with personal care and supporting adults with special needs and learning difficulties.


Job Responsibilities:



* Supporting the class teacher/support worker.
* Working with children individually and in small groups
* Encouraging children and young adults to reach their potential


Preferred Skills:



* Special educational needs experience.
* TA Qualifications
* PMLD
* DBS certificate (Adult and Child)
* A willingness to encourage young adults to succeed
* A caring and patient personality.
* Personal care experience.
