A school in the Guildford area are looking to recruit an SEN teaching assistant to join their thriving school for after half term. The school supports learners who are on the Autistic spectrum as well as social and emotional difficulties. Their ages range from 7 to 14 year olds.

Your role will require:
Liaise with teacher to ensure all learners are supported
Engage with the learners to keep them on task
Assist during break duty, outings and class activities
Deliver 1:1 or small group focused lessons when required

The skills required:
Good maths and English
Previous experience working with Autistic learners is essential
Patience and flexibility to deal with changes
Ability to look after children's physical, social and emotional welfare
