An exciting opportunity has just come to light for a versatile Senior Estimator. My client a Tier 1 developer, is currently on the hunt for a Senior Estimator to head up a residential high rise located in the City of London.

The project itself consists of overseeing the design and build of 380 high spec units and the overall height of the project will be 59 stories with an RC frame. For the right candidate my client will pay up to £95,000 + competitive package, this is also a real great opportunity to join a leading developer in the market.

Requirements:



* To assist the Managing Estimator in the delegation of specific work tasks within the Estimating team.
* All estimates produce in accordance with relevant procedures and work instructions and other company procedures, systems (E.G: Cost Os and RIB Construction Suite) and processes
* To represent the Estimating team in cross department discussions.
* Support the procurement team with tender and/or contract price analysis and reference to baseline and revised estimates.
* To communicate at all levels in respect to cost related discussions.
* To assist in training other members of the team in systems and techniques.
* To assist in the continuing improvement of Estimating reports and information services.
* To be conversant in all areas of potential construction techniques and mixed use schemes.
* Produce accurate and comprehensive estimates for large or complex projects or programmes in a timely and efficient manner.
* Produce / manage complex / large estimates with limited management or supervision
* Control and manage the estimating process at project level.
* To assist the Managing Estimator in the delegation of specific work tasks within the Estimating team.
* All estimates produce in accordance with relevant procedures and work instructions and other company
* procedures, systems (E.G: Cost Os and RIB Construction Suite) and processes
* Apply and use of recognised, appropriate method of measurement rules in the preparation of all estimates.
