Following a busy work winning period, we are recruiting a Health & Safety Advisor or Manager to join a leading main contractor on construction sites across Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.

Working on a diverse range of new build construction projects ranging from £500k to £50M, this is an opportunity to work with some of the most prestigious Clients in the region.

Working as part of a larger H&S team and reporting in to a Senior Health & Safety Manager, duties will include:

* Provide advice to various departments when they are producing the Construction SHE Plans, the Environmental plan and the traffic management plan
*Ensure that new sites are correctly set up in accordance with the SHE plan
* Carry out regular site visits to provide advice and support to the site teams
* Investigate incidents and significant near misses
* Attend internal review meetings, meeting with client representatives and planning supervisors etc
* Promote company objectives and H&S initiatives

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following:

* 2 years' experience of advising on H&S within the construction industry

Qualifications:
The NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Safety and Health
NEBOSH Environmental Management
CSCS
