Job Title: Site Manager

Salary: £55k plus package (Neg)

The project:

A JCT D&B new build school based in North Kent - value £6 million. Further projects will consist of healthcare, leisure and retail and commercial through Kent ranging from £2 to £15 million.

Your new role:

As the Site Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of site reporting to a Project Manager

* Responsibility for day to day running including Health & Safety and ensuring project is running accordingly to the programme and budget
* Man management including sub-contractors, Assistant Site Managers and Site Foreman
* Client Liaison and Client walk around
* Site inductions and tool box talks
* Managing quality of build
* Daily sheets including progress, timesheets, deliveries
* Working with Design Manager to resolve design issues

About you:

* HND / HNC or similar in Construction Management is beneficial but not a necessity
* Previous experience as project lead on a £6 million project is essential
* Full understanding of current Health & Safety Legislation
* Sound judgement and problem solving skills
* Commercial and contractual awareness is preferable

Our client is a Top 10 Main Contractor which specialises across most sectors of the construction industry. Locally (Kent) they have turnover of £60m approx with project values between £6m-£25m in sectors including Education, Leisure, Healthcare, Commercial and residential.
