Are you a patient and approachable teaching assistant, passionate about supporting and shaping the education & lives of children? Can you encourage children through positive attitudes and enthusiasm to complete work to the best of their ability? One of our partner schools in Leeds requires a caring and dedicated 1:1 teaching assistant to support a child with additional learning needs in Early Years. The successful candidate will provide assistance with core subjects, encouraging the child to stay on task, and help them to develop social and communication skills. This is an ongoing contract to start ASAP but has the potential to turn into a permanent position for the right candidate. You must have:

* Classroom experience working with small groups of children
* Experience working with children with SEN
* Excellent communication skills


* A rewarding role working with fantastic children and staff

* Promoting the welfare of children and supporting the school in safeguarding via appropriate policies and procedures
* Record keeping and completing daily assessments of progress made
* Encouraging and supporting children to complete work to the best of their ability
