A well established manufacturing company are looking for an experienced Stores Assistant to join their successful and growing team.

* Full-time position (6.45am - 4.50pm Monday - Thursday)

Responsibilities



* Providing excellent customers service with customers and supplies
* Managing of stock control systems to ensure inventory accuracy
* Co-ordinate deliveries from Suppliers, and receipt at point of delivery.
* Overall responsibility for Goods in and Out Areas.
* Responsible for ensuring that the quality of the products and service within the Warehouse is maintained at the highest possible standard.
* Quality control
* Use of FLT counterbalance
* Use of internal computer and Kanban systems
* Picking and packing of parts for fabrication and distribution
* Updating of the system accordingly
* Managing all incoming parts
* Loading and unloading
* Adhering to all health and safety regulations

Requirements



* 3+ years Stores Assistant experience
* Proven excellent attention to detail
* Must have FLT Counterbalance certificate
* Experience within the automotive/manufacturing industry is essential
* Ability to work under pressure
* Previous experience using Sage 50
* SAP experience
* Previous use of Kanban system
* Able to work as part of a team
* Enthusiastic
* Good communication skills
