Do you have resilience and experience working with SEN and physical disabilities?

Can you build strong and positive relationships with young people and adults?

We are looking for a patient and compassionate Class Keyworker to work full-time near Tunbridge Wells. You will be promoting all aspects of personal development and individual progress for a group of key students in a pathway class. Set on beautiful country grounds, you will be joining a team who will support you in working towards career progression opportunities.

Your responsibilities will include:
-Ensuring effective communication with and between staff and students
-Delivering particular strategies and programmes for students
-Taking a lead in regards to general support duties including providing physical management and personal care
-Providing a safe and positive classroom environment
-Supporting students in their education plans and to overcome barriers to learning

An ideal candidate may possess the following skills and capabilities:
-GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English
-Excellent communication skills
-An aspiration to enable students to learn and achieve meaningful independence
-Own means of transport is essential
-Manual Handling training
-A passion for and an interest in SEN and physical disabilities
