A Special Educational Needs school near Tonbridge are looking for a part-time teacher of Maths and English. You will be teaching Key Stage 3 children who are working at a much lower level and have individual learning and development needs. The children at this school all have physical disabilities and associated learning difficulties so need the extra support and guidance from a teacher like you.

Your responsibilities will include:
-Tailoring learning techniques to individual learners
-Planning lessons and marking work
-Striving to meet your pupil's targets
-Providing feedback to students on progress and development
-Working on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
-Working alongside speech and language therapists and communication assistants to support students' communication
-Adapting teaching methods to suit individual learners' needs and education plans

An ideal candidate may possess the following skills and capabilities:
-Be flexible and creative in your approach to learning techniques.
-Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
-Be able to teach a variety of subjects with a focus on Maths and English
-Be able to build relationships with children and adults
-Ability to teach KS2/KS3 children
-At least two professional references
-Own means of transport is essential
