We have a full time opportunity to join a friendly and welcoming two form entry primary school based in Bishop's Stortford, with easy access to public transport. The school are 'Good', with Outstanding features, and they boast a fantastic reputation for staff retention by supporting each of their staff members throughout their education careers. Due to a current member of staff going on maternity leave, we are now seeking a determined and focused teaching assistant to join the team on a long term, full time basis beginning asap.

Responsibilities and requirements:

* Attend to pupils' personal needs, including social, health, hygiene and first aid
* Provide administrative support to the class teacher
* Assist with the planning and delivery of individual education plans
* Monitor and evaluate pupils' progress and maintain reports
* Liaise with parents, carers and professional staff around the school
* Have a clear passion for helping challenging pupils reach their full potential
* Use initiative to develop and implement actions that will promote pupils' integration
