Temporary Accommodation Team Leader

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Temporary Accommodation Team Leader based in a Housing Association in South East London.

Post: Temporary Accommodation Team Leader

Rate: Circa £25- £26 per hour

We are looking for an experienced Temporary Accommodation Team Leader to lead, manage and coordinate a team who are responsible for providing a professional, comprehensive and people focused housing management service for temporary accommodation.

The main duties of the role are as followings;

* Manage the team to ensure they proactively provide a complete range of housing management services for temporary accommodation within procedural guidelines, standards and timescales
* Agree team and individual targets with the Head of Housing and monitor performance of the team taking corrective action when required.
* Inform the annual budgeting process for each property by suggesting tangible property and operational solutions in order to mitigate risk based on building and customer type.
* Support the team by providing expert knowledge, skills and interventions to influence, challenge and achieve the goals and targets of the service.
* Ensure effective communication by the team with the Health and Safety Team, landlords , tenants and contractors, so that gas safety inspections and certificates are arranged in accordance with relevant legislation.


* Previous Social Housing Experience.
