KS2 Primary Teacher Role in Preston September 2018.

I am recruiting for a Primary Teacher to support a primary school in Preston for a September 2018 start. The teacher will be required to support the Year 5 class and be responsible for full class teaching. The ideal candidate will be required to use their strengths in teaching to develop the Year 5 children as well support the school as a whole.

The school values all children as individuals and they are encouraged to express themselves. Talent and growth is developed within this school and children are challenged throughout their learning. The ideal teacher will follow this school ethos and be passionate about delivering this message within their teaching. You will be required to have strong behaviour management. The school aims to create a safe, happy and caring environment.

You will be required to use your teaching experience in KS2 and more specifically Year 5. You will have strong subject knowledge and be adaptable to work within the school to support their schedule. This is an exciting opportunity to join a happy school environment where you feel valued and part of the school team. This is to cover a maternity leave and will start following the summer holidays.

Candidates must have:



* Qualified Teacher Status
* Experience working across KS2
* Current experience within the classroom
* Confidence to support KS2

* The passion to maintain the standards of the school following all policies
* Proven performance in previous schools that is evident through references
* High expectations of pupil progress and development
* Have a positive professional attitude during their time with the school

Your responsibilities:



* Keep your consultant updated on your progress
* Work to a high standard in the role
* Adapt to the school by following their policies
* Commit to your role fully with a professional attitude
* Be aware of safeguarding policies
* Follow marking procedures
* Liaise with your consultant and school staff on a regular basis

To apply for this role the requirements are:



* QTS Status - newly qualified or qualified teacher
* Have recent classroom experienced within the last 12 months
* Able to teach Key Stage 2 - Year 5 more specifically
* Able to provide two referees (one for a child setting)
* An enhanced level of DBS check

Posts are subject to two satisfactory references and an up to date DBS clearance.
