Details:
Accounting Assistant
Temp-to-Hire
Starting Pay: $20-22/HR D.O.E
Full Time- Hours vary, with a need for overtime during month end
Monday-Friday
Normal start time is 7 or 7:30AM and End time is 3:30 or 4PM

Responsibilities:
In this role you will assist with data entry, processing purchase orders and reconciliation of manufacturing orders in their ERP system. You will also maintain accounts payable for production inputs, learn about and maintain an understanding of the manufacturing processes and systems in their facility, provide vacation coverage support across plant administrative functions and complete other duties as assigned.

Here are some further details:

1. Key and reconcile material orders in Mapics. Audit material orders using accounting tools and work with production to provide comments for deviations to target.
2. Assist with inventory adjustments and discard processing for damage and sample items
3.Create and manage miscellaneous purchase orders and assist department managers with proper unit/nature coding
4.Monitor and resolve outstanding edit issues and follow up with department managers as appropriate
5.Assist in data collection for monthly and quarterly reports as assigned
6.Read, write, and communicate at a level to facilitate the understanding of the terminology of the job. Comprehend and follow written and/or verbal procedures or instructions.
7.Organize and plan ahead to maximize job efficiency, paying attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 AM
