We are seeking an Associate Director or Marketing for a permanent opportunity in Charleston, SC. The position pays $140k-$175k based on education and experience. Qualified candidates will have at least 7 years of Brand Management/Marketing experience within the pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities:
* Partner with leadership in annual planning and the development of yearly growth objectives, business and customer relations strategies
* Analyze all aspects of assigned lines of business to proactively identify new opportunities, programs, strategies for growing the pharma business in current and new customer segments/distribution channels
* Create and execute marketing strategies, programs and tactics to drive the business forward and achieve annual sales and financial goals
* Manage digital footprint for organization, developing annual digital plan, ensuring optimal engagement with various audiences, organization's products/links featured in appropriate platforms, etc
* Orchestrate commercialization for product launches to include all programs and activities surrounding new product introduction into the market, market-conditioning, market
* Lead and manage Pharma Ops bi-weekly meetings, including agenda and meeting notes
* Manage assigned budget to create maximum promotion impact

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

* Willing and able to "Roll up sleeves" and execute plans with minimal support from junior or support staff. - Must be a strategist who can tactically execute!
* Commitment to working in a team-oriented, cross-functional and collaborative manner. Succeeds in rapidly changing start-up environment
* Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and execution, product launch campaigns and successful advertising and public relations efforts
* Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategies and tactics that facilitate the appropriate and rapid uptake of a brand
* Extensive experience launching new products in new customer segments with limited resources.
* Sound analytical skills, with the ability to interpret, analyze and make recommendations based on trends, insights and reports
* Demonstrated decision-making and problem-solving capability and able to apply to both organization and business planning
*Ability to assess new market and/or customer segments and development of appropriate strategies and tactics to drive sales
* Excellent written/oral communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
* Ability to travel: up to 12 trips per year
